02 What you’ve built
CSLB license #625013, issued in 1991.
CSLB Lic. #625013 · C-39 Roofing, issued August 14, 1991
5.0 stars from 3 Google reviews
They got the job done fast but didn't cut any corners, and they left the property spotless.
They did an outstanding job on my Huntington Beach home from start to finish, and the quality of their work was excellent.
Had a great experience with the crew at McClain Roofing. Very friendly and knowledgable. Recommend on your next roofing project!!
03 What a customer sees today
Make your experience easier to see online.

- Chrome shows a certificate warning. At the https address, the certificate is self-signed and expired on Feb 4, 2021.
- The phone number isn’t tap-to-call.Up top, the number is part of a picture. Tapping it doesn’t start a call.
- Your license number could be easier to find.CSLB #625013 is in small type inside the logo image. It isn’t text on the page or on the Google listing.
- Two details on Google need a look.Friday hours read “9 AM to 2 AM”, and a second, unclaimed listing is empty.
- Three Google reviews so far.Three recent five-star reviews give us a starting point.
Checked October 22, 2026.
04 Why it matters
People call the roofer that looks trustworthy and easy to reach.
When a roof leaks, people look at a few roofers on their phone and call the one that feels safe. The website and listings are where a call can slip away.
“Businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local search results.”
“More reviews and positive ratings can help your business’s local ranking.”

05 Your new website
Built from your real business.
Your name and colors, your photos, your hours, your services and your customers’ own words. Calls and inspection requests come first.
- Tap-to-call on every page
- A four-field inspection request
- Your license number on every page
- Hours that show if you’re open right now
- Fast, secure and easy to read on a phone

06 Quick wins in the first 30 days
Four quick wins, each based on what I found.
Launch a site with a working certificate and tap-to-call
Found: the certificate expired in Feb 2021, so Chrome shows a warning at the https address, and the phone number is part of a picture.
Fix: launch the new site with a working certificate, a tap-to-call button on every page and a clear menu.
Make your license number easier to read and verify
Found: CSLB #625013 is in small type inside the logo image, but not as text on the page or on Google. CSLB files it as “MC CLAIN ROOFING INC”, and a CSLB name search for “McClain Roofing” didn’t find it when I checked.
Fix: show CSLB #625013 as plain text on every page of the new site and on your Google profile.
Tidy up your Google listings
Found: Friday hours read 9 AM to 2 AM, and a second, unclaimed listing, “Mcclain Roofing Company”, sits nearby with no details.
Fix: confirm the right hours, then claim the second listing and ask Google to merge or remove it.
Build a steady review habit
Found: 5.0 stars from 3 Google reviews, all recent.
Fix: ask every customer, never only the happy ones, with no incentives. Reply to every review.

See your new websiteDetails we’ll confirm with you
- Your Friday hours. Google shows “9 AM to 2 AM”, which looks like a typo. What are the right hours?
- Your name: McClain Roofing Inc (Google, your license) or McClain Roofing Company (your door sign, the second Google listing)? Should we ask Google to merge or remove the second listing?
- Your team. Can we name Kevin, Andrew, Brent and Bradley and show their photos? A Google review calls Andrew the owner, while your site lists him as project manager.
- Free inspections. Your site says you provide free inspections and written reports, in the commercial section. Does that include homes, or only commercial buildings?
- Insurance. Which coverage should we name? Your site says fully insured with certificates on request, and CSLB lists workers’ compensation through Jan 1, 2027.
- What your maintenance program includes, and which manufacturers you are approved with if you want them listed (your site says “Certified Systems: Manufacture Approved”).
- Photos and logo. OK to use the roof photos from your website, two owner photos from Google and our redrawn copy of your logo? Newer job photos and your original logo file would help.
- Cities you serve (a review mentions a Huntington Beach home) and the kinds of roofs you want more of.
- Who gets inspection requests, which phone number and email to list (your site shows roofing@mcclainroofing.com), and who holds the logins for mcclainroofing.com and its GoDaddy hosting.
